Hi I'm Taylor Blood

I am a missionary. I am serving in the Boston, Massachusetts Mission speaking Portuguese.

About Me

I am just a Sister Missionary who loves my Savior and wants to help others in any way possible. I will be serving in the Boston Massachusetts Mission speaking the Portuguese language. I completed one year of higher education at Utah State University before coming on my mission. I am out here preaching the gospel to strangers in a language completely foreign to me to help others come unto Christ and feel the love and joy that I have found in the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that through this Church's teachings and ordinances I find true and everlasting happiness. This is truly Christ's church, and by being a member I gain knowledge and peace that is not found anywhere else on this Earth. I have been taught gospel doctrine since I was little, but I didn't fully understand it's significance until I have become more independent and had to learn things for myself. If you pray and study your scriptures and come closer to Christ, you will find answers to any question and comfort during any struggle. I know this to be true because I have tested and experienced it for myself. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know that this is the true church led by a modern, living Prophet. I know there is no greater joy than having knowledge of this church and the plan that God has for us. I say all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to genuinely getting to know and love everyone that I meet. I love hearing people's stories and how they have grown into the person that they are today. Everyone has a story and every person deserves to be heard. I know life isn't easy, but I also have great faith in my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I show my faith in Him by helping all people feel His love and know of the Atonement that He performed for all of us. I try show my faith in every action I make every day.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Taylor Blood
The family is central and vital to God's plan of happiness. Through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, family relationships can last beyond the grave. When families follow Christ and repent of their mistakes, they are able to one day perform ordinances in the church's temples which allow their family to be sealed for eternity- meaning that they are able to see and live with one another again even after a loved one passes away. I love and value this teaching of the church. It brings hope to everyone who has lost someone that they love. Show more Show less
