Hi I'm Greg Dunn

I grew up in Springville, Utah. I have lived in Wyoming for 40 years and worked as a Trona miner for 38 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of six children. I attended a tech college where I learned welding, drafting, blue print reading and machine shop skills. I was a mechanic in the mining industry for 38 years. My hobbies are hunting, fishing, wood carving, gardening, reading and metal art.

Why I am a Mormon

As a teenager growing up in the 60's with all the confusion of the Vietnam War, general unrest and craziness of that time period I loved the direction that I received as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We have a living Prophet and 12 Apostles that give us guidance and direction as we live in an ever changing world. The feeling that I get as I have served others strengthens my faith. Also I love that we have the Holy Bible, the Book of Mormon, and modern day revelation that comes through our Prophet and Apostles that teach us about the Savior Jesus Christ and the life he would have us live. From reading and studying these sacred scriptures it brings me closer to my Heavenly Father and gives me hope in the atonement that Jesus Christ has provided for all of us. It is because of this hope that I have in the atonement that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have spent many years working with the youth in our church. Particularly with the young men as a scout leader. I have also taught the youth on Sunday. When I was 19 years old I served a two year mission for our church in the Manitoba, Canada - Minnesota, USA area where I taught people about Jesus Christ and his message. Currently I serve in a leadership role for our local congregation helping to organize, assist in the welfare of our members and keep things running smoothly.
