Hi I'm Alex

I grew up in San Diego, California in the United States. I am the second oldest of four children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University Idaho. I have been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Australia Melbourne mission. I am the second oldest of four children and have two brothers and one sister. I love to sing and go snowboarding with my friends here in Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church because I can see the happiness that it brings my family. Because of this gospel, my family will be able to be together for time and all eternity. There are not many other religions that believe that you can see those that have passed on from this life in one after this. That is just one of the things that make being a Mormon special for me.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a ward missionary here in my YSA ward on campus. Previously, I was the ward music coordinator and I was able to pick the music for our sacrament meetings which I loved. One of my favorite parts about being in a student ward is that we are able to fill many callings as students. It really has to make you accountable and my testimony has grown so much because I am on my own and away from my parents.

What is faith?

Alex
To me, having faith is to have a hope for things which are cannot physically see but you kwon are true. You can have faith in many different things besides God. Show more Show less
