Hi I'm Kent

I come from a long line of forebearers who had great faith in God and passed on their heritage of faith. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am retired from the investment business and moved to Utah to be near our children and grandchildren. My interests continue to be in the investment markets, but my greater focus is now on grandchildren, researching family history and playing basketball, a favorite pastime.

Why I am a Mormon

As I mentioned above, I was blessed by a legacy of faith from those before me. I was well-grounded in the scriptures and taught to pray often. As a teenager I reached a point where my parent's faith was not sufficient and I needed to know for myself whether their path should be mine. Study of the scriptures and prayer led to powerful personal witnesses that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that God is my father and that he loves me, and that the path of my parents was also my path. I have endeavored ever since to live worthy of the blessings and witness given me and to help others also find their way to our Father in Heaven and His son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I believe we grow most in faith and Christ-like characteristics by our service to others. The focus of my service currently is my family and my church "family". I have been blessed by good youth leaders, parents and grandparents in gaining many handyman skills I like to use to help others. My wife and I are beginning a mission in the eastern US helping support congregations there.
