Hi I'm Jeanne Jeppesen

I live in Tooele, Utah. My husband and I are the parents of five children. We are going on a service mission to McAllen, Texas.

About Me

My family roles define who I am, a wife, mother and grandmother. In our 49 years of marriage we have lived in Idaho and Utah. Our children were raised in Tooele. We have kept busy in school, civic and church affairs. Our recreation was hunting and riding motorcycles on the west dessert and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child we lived on a dry farm. I attended a one room school and rode horses to get there. Mom was a member of the L.D.S. Church but Dad wasn't. It was a long drive to go to church. The goodness of my parents and reading the scriptures gave me a love for Jesus Christ. Because of my love for Him I chose ot be baptized and be an active member of the L.D.S. Church.

How I live my faith

It has been my opportunity to work in a nursing home for 17 years. Serving the elderly with even their most basic needs has been rewarding. I love them. I arranged for their spiritual and social needs. I developed a great love for history as well. My husband and I are also helping a group of singles(30 to 90) in our neighborhood with their needs. We do an informative monthly newsletter. We have arranged for fireside chats and holiday parties. I mend or alter their clothes as needed.
