Hi I'm Kari

I am a college student, an archery competitor, a book lover, from a small town in Utah, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am an archery competitor. I love watching and playing soccer. I grew up in a small town in Utah. I love to escape into books. I am a student at Southern Utah University. I play the violin and the piano. I love to make people happy and laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I grew up in family that was Mormon and ever since birth I have gone to church on Sunday and learned the teachings of the church. Even though I grew up in this background I had a choice of if I wanted to believe what I was being taught to me or not. I still had to find for myself that this church is true. There was times when I questioned the gospel and if this really was truth but I know for a fact without a doubt in my mind that this church is true. This knowledge did not come to me all at once or in a day. It took time and faith. I am a Mormon because I know that this is God's true church and that this is what he wants for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily in the simple things I do. Helping out a neighbor by taking their dog on a walk when they have to work 12 hour shifts. Saying a prayer before I start my day. Dress in a way that is appeasing to God. Read my scriptures daily. Help teach on Sunday. Bringing a smile to the faces of those around me. Holding a crying child for a father so they can attend their meetings. I will be leaving to serve a mission in a few months. By doing simple things each day I can have my faith with me.
