Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in Castle Rock, Colorado. I graduated high school in 2015 and enrolled at The University of Oregon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up at the base of the Rocky Mountains gave me countless opportunities to spend time in the Outdoors. As a result I love hiking, biking, camping, and almost any other outdoor activity. I'm also a sports fanatic. Throughout my childhood I tried playing basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, and Track & Field. However, football was the only one that stuck. After graduating from High School in 2015 I enrolled at The University of Oregon in June of 2015 where I continued my football career. I redshirted my freshman year with the team while preparing to serve a full time mission for the LDS church. I received my call in November to the Brazil Fortaleza East Mission reporting February 17th of 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into this church it has certainly still been my own choice to continue to be apart of it. The spirit that I am able to feel when I am living a Christlike life is undeniable and I'll be eternally grateful that I have been privileged to be a member of this church. I know that this church is the true church of Christ and that God loves each and every one of his children on Earth and that he will always be there to answer our prayers and lift us up in times of need.

How I live my faith

Throughout my time in the church I've been able to serve in several callings both at my home church in Colorado and my church at college in Oregon. I have been privileged to serve as the President of my 12 year old Deacons Quorum, a Family History Consultant, and a Sacrament Coordinator. These callings each came with different responsibilities and allowed my faith to grow in different ways. I have also been privileged with many opportunities to teach lessons in Sunday School or give Talks on Sunday in Sacrament Meeting. Each of these opportunities helped my faith to grow by giving me opportunities to share my testimony and my beliefs with others. I try to be a positive influence to all those whom I come into contact with in life and emulate my older brother Jesus Christ by loving and serving my fellow man to the best of my ability.
