Hi I'm Tobi

I was born in Munich, Germany to a convert mother and member father. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to five children, all marrie. I have 12 grandchildren at the present. I graduated in 1975 with a BS degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Physical Education. I married my college sweetheart in August 1975. After my children were all in school, I became a full-time employee, retiring after 22 years as an Executive Assistant. My job took to my husband and I out of country to work in a US Embassy for three years. A real highlight in my life. I love being a mother and Granny. I also enjoy golf and belong to two Women's Leagues. I love to read, cook and entertain.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a convert mother and member father. We were sealed as a family when I was about 4 years old. My father was a Bishop for one year and served in two Stake Presidencies for about 15 years. I loved and honored my parents who instilled in me a love for the Gospel. I cannot remember a time when I didn't have a testimony of the Gospel and truthfulness of this Church. I am so proud to be a member of this Church and how we love and care for not just our members but all of our communities throughout the world.

How I live my faith

I have loved all of my callings. I especially love being a Primary Teacher. I had my first calling as a Primary Teacher in HighSchool when I was 14 years of age. I have been a Primary President and in the Presidencies of both Relief Society and Young Women. With my degree in Physical Education I have been a Sports Director at the Stake and Ward Levels. I have been a Sports Director in every ward I have lived in. I have also been referree in all the Young Women Sports. My sister and I at 18 and 19 years of age where asked to put on a Stake Water Show. We were responsible for renting a suitable place to hold the water show, arranged for security, recording all the music, worked with the Wards on their group numbers and special numbers as well as the advertising for an hour and a half program. It was very successful. I have always participated in our Ward Choirs and special musical programs. My two daughters came to visit us while we were overseas and we put on a Musical Fireside attended by over 100 people. I love to serve in service projects and enjoy providing meals for those in need.
