Hi I'm Ashley Hale

Serving in the Bulgaria Sofia Mission. Love playing and watching Sports. Family and Friends come first. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I played golf and basketball on my high school girls sports team and enjoyed every second of it. When I am not spending my time with the church or working you will find me out on the golf course soaking in every minute I can. I am currently attending BYU Idaho and am finishing my Associates Degree. I just got my mission call to serve in the Bulgaria, Sofia mission and I leave June 15th speaking Bulgarian.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Growing up at a young age I just tagged along with my parents because they knew that as I grew up the church would be a place to come and be a shelter from the storm this world was going to bring to me. As I grew up I was taught that we should start to build our testimonies about why we believe in this church and this is my testimony so far in what I have experienced and know to be true. I believe that there is a Heavenly Father and Mother who love us deeply. His love for us is so consuming and infinite that we can not measure how much God loves us. It amazes me each day to know that I can pray and read the words that he has given each of us and understand that out of the billions and billions of people on this earth he holds a special love for me and the same goes for you too. I also know that Heavenly Father sent his Son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins so that we would not have to go through the type of pain that he went through. It also gives us another chance to turn to Christ and he knows exactly what we are going through because he went through it too. When I have the chance to talk about the church my soul is filled with this spirit that is so sweet and loving and it confirms to me that what I have been believing and doing is what Heavenly Father has in store for me. I am also eternally grateful for the mission experience I will embark on. I can not imagine those people that have not heard of the gospel and this sweet, loving, and humbling church that we belong to and not have the opportunity to partake of it as well. I know without a doubt a mission is going to be a blessing and the hardest trial but I know that whatever I do Heavenly Father and Jesus are on my side and know why I need to serve and teach the people of Bulgaria and that is to have them hear this message of the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

Being up at a church school I have many opportunities to share my opinions about the gospel and why I choose to belong to this church. In my school classes the students are a mix of both converts and people who were born into the church but what makes it very unique is that we believe in the same thing. We each every class bring something different to the table and share what we feel is why we decide to live by our faith in Jesus Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
