Hi I'm Michael Dean Bass

I grew up in Bluffdale, West Valley, and Holladay, Utah. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like to work with wood. I am a handyman, a fixer-upper. I like to drive. I am a dad, I have 4 girls and 3 boys. I have made beds for some of my daughters for their weddings. I have made some of the items used in my daughter's wedding receptions (gift cart and cake gazebo). I made my wife and I a sunburst bed. I made my wife a sewing table, a table for our printer and a table for our dvd player out of a piece of wood from the Pacific Ocean. The wood is a dark red color. I made an end table with an inlaid star of David. I like to fish also.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and have had ancestors in the church. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have served in boy scouts for several years especially when my 3 sons were in scouting. I have been involved in the Seventies (a missionary involved priesthood group). I have served in the stake Young Men's Presidency. Now, I am serving in the high priest's group leadership as secretary. I have served as executive secretary and as ward records clerk. I served a work mission in California in the 1960's and helped build 2 chapels.
