Hi I'm Hannah

I was adopted as a baby from China. I am currently studying Accounting. I love to read, scrapbook, and bake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a current college student studying accounting and I hope that one day I can start a non-profit organization to help foster care/adoption relief efforts. I love baking in my spare time, especially cupcakes, and one of my favorite books to read is "The Kite Runner." I also enjoy watching movies in theaters and digital scrapbooking for my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I decided to join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 16 years old. I was in the 10th grade and I got to the point where I was very unhappy, and I started to ask myself, "What is the purpose of this life if we are just going to die and then all of this mortality is for nothing?" I saw my friends who were members of the Church, and they seemed to have a purpose and light to their lives. I felt the genuine love they had for me, and I reached out to them with a desire to know what made them different. I researched more about the LDS Church on my own, as well as talked with the missionaries, and I made the decision to be baptized. The restored gospel of this Church is incredible. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that Jesus Christ lives and His atonement was for us. I know that families can be together forever through the power of the ordinances of the temple. I know that the gospel changes lives; I know because it changed mine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to be an example of Christ through my words and action each day. I serve Heavenly Father by serving those around me, whether it be bringing them treats or taking time out of my day to visit them and chat to see how they are doing. By showing genuine love and concern for those I love everyday, and even for those who are in need that I don't even know, that is how I live my faith.
