Hi I'm Michelle LeCheminant

I'm a mother of five and grandmother of twenty-five. Teaching, reading and creating are my loves. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 67 years old and have been called on a mission with my husband. He will retire next month and we will leave a month after that. I have a great legacy of missionaries in my family and I'm excited that it's finally my turn. I'm very excited to live in a new place for 18 months and serve with my wonderful husband. I love people and having new experiences. I adore my family. We are very close and I will miss them but feel their support 100%.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into the church when I was 8 years old. I grew up in a strong Mormon family. I went to church and participated because it was our tradition. When I was in college and away from home I did some deep soul searching to receive my own testimony. I realized I was so blessed by being a Mormon and knew for myself that the church was true. I can't imagine my life without the Gospel. It has given me an anchor and perspective in everything I have done. It has blessed my marriage, my family and my soul. I thank God every day that I belong to the Mormon church.

How I live my faith

Because I have been a member of the Mormon Church all my life I have had so many opportunities to grow. Through serving in the church I have gained abilities in organizing, teaching, leading, delegating, and creativity. Most importantly I have learned to stay close to my Heavenly Father and Savior through prayer, scripture study and serving his children.
