Hi I'm Olivia Limon

I grew up in Utah. I love to ride and compete on horses. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love riding horses, boating, camping, hiking, working, and hanging out with my family and friends. I love spending my days riding my horses, especially in the summer. I'm attending college studying International AgriBusiness. My family owns a ranch and I love working there and spending time with my family. I love to travel abroad! My dad is from Mexico so I speak pretty fluent Spanish and I love to visit my family there. I went to Antequera, España for a semester of school. I also went to Asuncion, Paraguay for a humanitarian trip with H.E.F.Y. it was an amazing experience! I love life and I love being a Mormon!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is the true church. I have been raised a Mormon my whole life so by nature I always believed it to be true. But my true conversion to the LDS faith was when I was fifteen years old when I was in Spain for a semester. I lived with an amazing non-member family but it was different living in a home that wasn't LDS. I struggled not being able to go to church every Sunday but I learned to rely on the Lord. I was humbled and I prayed a lot. I felt the love of Jesus Christ, my Savior. I finished the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true and I received a simple answer that it was. I know that this church is true and that if we read the scriptures and pray we will receive answers. I'm a Mormon because I know that God and Christ lives. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and he restored the church. I know that the Plan of Happiness is true and it has blessed me. I know that the Atonement of Christ is real and we are able to repent of our sins. I know that this gospel is true and I am a Mormon because it gives me hope, happiness, and purpose.

How I live my faith

I love being a part of my ward! They are my family and are so amazing! I love serving in callings and becoming closer to members in my ward. I participate in my ward by going to "family home evenings." In college, it's fun because a lot of people are away from home but you do have a family because of your ward! It's fun to teach classes or participate in classes by commenting and listening to what others have to say. Whenever there is an activity or service project I am excited to go because a good time to take a break from whatever I am doing. I try to always be an example of Jesus Christ in my actions.
