Hi I'm Kevyn

I'm from Utah. I'm trying to be like Jesus. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah but moved to Tennessee when I was 18 to be a nanny for 2 little kids in a military household. We traveled a lot all over the South and that is when I fell in love with traveling. Immediately after living there I went to India for a humanitarian trip and had some incredible and awful experiences there. I later moved to North Carolina then back to Utah to begin school and now I'm off to serve the people of Rancho Cucamonga, California and I could not be more excited.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in what people would call a "broken home". My parents divorced when I was a baby and my dad and step-mom were very abusive. My mom and leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ as I was growing up and that is where I found peace through my trials. I read the Book of Mormon and I could feel the truth of Christ with every word I read and I could feel of His love for me. Sometimes, doubts and fears arise as I try to live this gospel. But through obedience, faith, scripture study, and prayer, I am able to put those feelings aside and continue on the path of true, eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church weekly. In my church I planned activities for the young single adults to attend weekly. I had so much fun doing that! When I was released from this calling I chose to live my faith by supporting those who hold callings, or duties, in my church. I also read my Book of Mormon daily and try to show a Christ-like love to all those I meet.
