Hi I'm Kaysia

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am the middle child in my family of eight and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Kaysia. I recently just finished my freshman year of college at Utah State University and Salt Lake Community College. I grew up dancing and I cheered all three years at Riverton High School. I have received my mission call to serve in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I am eager to serve the Lord and the people in Mexico and I am very humbled to have this opportunity to share the happiness that this gospel brings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the tender mercies throughout my life. I have felt Gods influence and loving hand through the good and the bad times. I know that He hears our prayers and that the Savior has felt every pain and sorrow. I know that Heavenly Father and our Savior knows each of us personally and I know that He has a plan. I trust in the Lords plan. I am a Mormon because of the peace, guidance, and happiness that living the gospel of Jesus Christ provides. Heavenly Father has blessed me with so much throughout my whole life. I have had personal confirmation and I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon and the teachings of the gospel. I know that this is the only true church and that the Prophet Joseph Smith has restored this gospel on the earth today, in its fullness. Being a Mormon and living the gospel principals helps me to become a better person. It has sculpt me into the person I am today. I have been blessed with an amazing and supportive family. I know that we will be together forever and that all families can have that sacred opportunity. I look forward for the day I can be sealed in the temple for eternity with my husband and raise a family of my own. I have a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I am thrilled that I get the opportunity to share of the things I know to be true and to serve with all my heart, might, mind, and strength.

How I live my faith

I have had callings in the Young Women Presidency as a Beehive, Mai-maid, and Laurel. For the next 18 months of my life I will be living my faith to serve as a full time missionary. Putting my schooling, job, and all other parts of my life aside I will be a representative of Christ and walking in his footsteps. Through lots of study and with the gift of the Holy Ghost, I will be an instrument in the Lords hands to preach the gospel and to serve the people in Mexico.
