Hi I'm Bre

Born and raised in Oregon. Recently called on a mission to Buenos Aries, Argentina. I attend BYU Idaho, and i am Mormon.

About Me

i love the outdoors! i think Oregon is so beautiful and theres so many places to explore. i love hiking, biking, rafting, rock climbing, and motorcross. i live a very active life, i play basketball, volleyball, softball, golf, and flag football. In high school i got into theater, i was in musicals and plays and i participated in a few dance recitals. my favorite things are turtles, ying yangs, and clocks. i love traveling, road trips are my favorite. Ive worked on cars as a technician and Ive loved every second of it, i also had a job as a physical therapist aid. I try to sample a little bit of everything so i can relate to people better and figure out what i want to do with my life.

Why I am a Mormon

i am mormon because i know the LDS church is the only true church, and i know that this is the life God wants me to live. i love all the blessings that go along with being a disciple of Christ.I grew up in the church, my family is moslty all Mormon and we all regularly attend. I was baptized when i was 8 and tired really hard to be the perfect Mormon girl and be a leader by example for my peers. When i was 17 all of my friends started leaving on missions and going off to college. After they were all gone i started looking for more friends and i found some in not so great places. I fell away from the church and ran away from home. I thought i knew what was best for me so i lived with one of these new friends i made. i began to see my dreams start to change. instead of want to serve a mission, i wanted to party and drop out of school. My family tried reaching out many times and i turned them down. one day i realized that i wasn't the same happy person any more. i apologized to my family and others i had hurt and started my repentance process. i started going back to church and setting better goals for my life. it took a very long time but i turned my life around and got through a year of school, and was worthy to serve a full time mission. but most importantly i gained my parents trust back. Im very grateful for the impact the gosple has had in my life. And when i follow the commandments Heavenly Father has set for me i feel happier and i have no doubt in my mind im exactly where i need to be in my life.

How I live my faith

i love teaching kids, and i was called to be a teacher in the primary. then when i went to college i was called as a teacher in relief society. i fell happy when im helping and teaching people about the gosple. thats why im serving a mission so i can bring souls unto Christ and allow them to find the happiness i have.
