Hi I'm Rennu

I'm from Estonia - a small country in eastern Europe and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I born on May 5, 1990 in Tallinn, Estonia. I am the only child in my family. What am I'm doing with my life? Well.. I like to do outdoor activities, like running, sports, riding a bicycle, travel, etc. Also I love to sing and sometimes cook. I have many interests and activities that I really like to do in my life. I’m really good at web stuff and computers. My biggest hobby is to design websites and online communities. I even have my own social community, created by me! It's my friend and family community, where my friends can sign up and share their thoughts. I also know how to make sushi. I worked as sushi chef in the Tallinn airport. The first things people usually notice about me is my smile and my eyes. I look very young - many people think that I'm like 4-5 years younger then my actual age. I'm fully satisfied with my life - I enjoy every moment of it and I have wonderful friends around me. I have a lot of positive energy in my life which I like to share with others. I'm also a serious Harry Potter fan. Also I like some kind of comedy movies, but not so much. But mostly, I live a normal life as everyone else. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I found the Church a number of years ago through my grandmother. Over the years, I have had different levels of activity in the Church. And because of this, I have seen how my life is when I am close to God, active in His Church, and faithful in keeping the commandments. I have also seen what life is like when I am not active in the church and drift away from God. Having experienced both aspects, I know that my life is happier, fuller, and better when I stick close to God. Throughout my life, I have been developing my testimony about the Church. I have read the Book of Mormon, I have prayed, and I have communicated with God. I have come to know that this Church is God's Church and that he wants me to be involved with it. Why am I a Mormon? Because the Church fills something inside me that can't be filled by anything else, because it has God and his power in it, because it's true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying active in the church. Currently I serve as a sunday school teacher, Young Single Adult (YSA) second counselor and ward missionary. I organize events for YSAs and I also go with the missionaries to teach new people. I get to meet new people, I have a lot of fun and I get to work with great people. For me, though, I think the most important way to live my faith is by living life normally. My faith doesn't make different or special, rather, it informs my choices and helps me to make my regular, everyday life better.
