Hi I'm Heidi Howard

I grew up in North Carolina, I've lived all around the country, and I'm a student at BYU-I and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently in Idaho for college, haven't quite figured out what I'm going to be majoring in, but going to school here has been the best decision. I enjoy watching films, listening to music, laughing with friends, bowling, and playing guitar. I have lived in NC, Colorado, Arizona, Michigan, and Idaho. Moving a lot has let me experience so many different people and places that not many people get to do in their life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member, and was baptized when I was 8 years old. But I was spiritually converted not that long ago. When you're a kid in the church, you learn to live off your parents testimony- which isn't bad but then you start to develop your own as you grow older. Being here at BYU-I has pushed me to spiritual lengths that I've never accustomed to but have learned to love and indulge in the few months that I've been here.

How I live my faith

In my church I was called to be a compassionate service member. This means I help out the women in my ward with anything they need. I will be there for them when they are stressed with school, or anything they want to talk about. Having this calling has shown me how to be compassionate with others and to have sympathy beyond what I've ever experienced and has helped me grow more mature.
