Hi I'm Chloe

I grew in Arkansas, Washington, California, and Utah. I love to travel and to learn new things. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been called to serve in the Texas San Antonio Spanish-speaking mission. It came as a shock because I took German and Japanese, not Spanish, in high school and at BYU. I am really excited to learn a new language and to teach people of Heavenly Father's love. I grew up in many towns and states. I hope to someday live in England. My family is made of my best friends. I am the oldest child of my loving parents and have two sisters and three brothers. I will continue at BYU after my mission. I'm not sure what I want to major in yet, but I've been thinking about teaching or city/civil engineering. I loved college even more than I thought I would and I love the MTC even more! I am afraid of heights and needles. However, I like to fly (as pilot and passenger) planes and I am slowly, very slowly, recovering from my fear of needles. Before my mission, my favorite things to do were read, watch Netflix, and build train sets with my baby brother. Now, I love to study the scriptures even more and to learn Spanish. I love to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ and share it with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, for which I consider myself blessed. I continue to be in Jesus Christ's church because it is the only church with the fullness of His gospel. Following Jesus Christ and obeying His commandments bring me and my family so many blessings. For example, in the temple, I can be sealed for eternity to my family and be baptized on behalf of ancestors who were not privileged to be baptized in their lifetimes. I am on a mission to invite others to come to Christ so they can feel of His love and know of the plan Heavenly Father has for them. I know that Heavenly Father wants me here, when and where I am. He has given me so many miracles. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and cares for me. He has saved me in so many ways. But He has also shown me that miracles and proof follow faith and belief. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I grew up in the church and I am extremely grateful for it. I have had many callings in the Young Women organization between the ages of 12 and 18. Then, I graduated to Relief Society and was called as a Visiting Teaching Supervisor. My assignment was to remind Visiting Teaching companions to visit their girls and to report the information to the Visiting Teaching Coordinator. She would make sure that every girl in our ward got a visit and a lesson. I was also a visiting teacher, which I loved. I loved getting an assignment to visit with friends and bring them treats. Now, I am on mission! I get to serve the Lord full-time, with no other distractions. I can preach and teach of the love Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father have for us. I am serving in the Texas San Antonio Mission in the Spanish language! It is so exciting to learn a new language, especially so that more children of God can hear His plan for them in their native language.
