Hi I'm Tess

I am a wife, mother of three children, architectural technologist, graphic designer, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small farming town and then moved to the city to go to college. I became an architectural technologist and was blessed to find my eternal companion during my last few months of college. We were married in the temple and have kept busy with our young family ever since. We try to keep active and enjoy playing all sorts of sports. Sometimes we are lucky enough to get a babysitter and play them together! I spend some of my spare time on the computer doing graphic design, making wedding invitations, creating posters and handouts, business branding and more. I enjoy creating and making beautiful things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents taught me from a young age about Jesus Christ. It has always rung true with me and I feel like my testimony has just grown over the years. There have been many times in my life where my testimony has been strengthened and my conviction of Heavenly Fathers love for me has only grown stronger. I know that Jesus Christ has made it possible through the atonement for my burdens to be lightened and my sins to be forgiven. Through Him I can accomplish anything. He can make my weaknesses my strength. Nothing lifts my spirits more than hearing the words from the scriptures and prophets about my Saviour Jesus Christ. I am a child of God. I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to be in charge of organizing the women's program in our ward. At first when I was asked to take on this task I felt very inadequate as I have such a young family and am younger than the typical leader, but as I have been able to serve the members of our ward I have felt blessed and know that Heavenly Father makes up whatever I lack. He will never ask us to do more than we are able to. This opportunity has helped me to grow spiritually as well as learn important skills that will help me for the rest of my life. In no other organization could I receive better training than that of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for learning how to deal with people, serve others, and recognize those in need.
