Hi I'm Jeanette

I have been married for 51 years, have 8 children and 31 grandchildren.

About Me

I have two sisters that I loved deeply. I love the outdoors and God's creations, the mountains, the lakes and streams, the seasons, the sunsets, the snow the fall leaves, and spring flowers. My great love is sewing quilts, and knitting and all hand work. Biking has also been a great love and ice skating and skiing. Reading is also a favorite ever since I was very young. I enjoy doing humanitarian projects for others in need.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since I was 8, which has been 63 years. I made a covenant at Baptism to follow the Savior and his teachings and to listen to the Holy Ghost throughout my live. As I take the Sacrament each Sunday I am reminded that if I try to live like the Savior, I will become more like him and I want to live with him someday

How I live my faith

I am serving as the first Counselor in the Cedar Hills Stake Relief Society. We help our sisters to have faith in God the Father and in his Son Jesus Christ, and to become strong disciples of Christ. We give encouragement to each other as we journay through life. I am also a visiting teacher over 3 women. Two of them are in their middle to late 80's and have lost their husbands several years ago. They are in need of friendship and care because of ailing health. They are so grateful for any help we can give them. I have also enjoyed taking part in humanitarian projects in the community and sending items around the world. It is fun to get together with all women who love making toys and other items for people in need.
