Hi I'm Caleb Hunt

I've lived in Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, and New Mexico. I play the piano, and I speak English and Spanish. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently preparing to serve a mission in New Jersey where I'll be teaching people in the Spanish language. When I return, I am planning on going to school to study Nuclear Engineering, because I've always been interested in math and science. I went to three in different high schools: one in Indiana, one in New Mexico, and I finally graduated in Kansas. We moved a lot because of my dad's job. However, in high school I participated in a variety of sports, including cross country, wrestling, and track. After high school I got a job at Jiffy Lube where I earned some money for my mission and college, as well as some good experience and life lessons.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormons, so naturally as a kid, they would take me to church with them. It was at this early age where I began to feel the love of Jesus Christ and know that church was a good place to be. As I grew older, my faith grew as well. I had the opportunity to get baptized into the church when I turned 8, and I'm really glad that I made that decision in my life. As I grew even older, my cynicism started to emerge, especially in my mid-teens. So one night, I keeled down by bed and prayed sincerely to God, asking if this church was true. Almost immediately, I felt a warm feeling in my chest, and I knew at that point that this church was indeed true. Between that time and now, my faith has grown steadily stronger, as well as my overall happiness.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week, and I really love it. It's nice to meet once a week to be with other people who share your love of Jesus Christ. I read from the Book of Mormon and/or the Bible every day, and pray often. Doing these is a great opportunity for me to feel closer to God and Jesus Christ.
