Hi I'm Jaylee

I just a girl excited to serve as a missionary in the California Bakersfield Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the small town of Panguitch, Utah. I went to high school in Panguitch, where I participated in several sports. I played volleyball, basketball, golf, and cheer. After I graduated high school, I moved to St. George to attend Dixie State University. I absolutely loved living it there. I made life long friends that became a part of me. They helped my grow and shape into the person I am today. I have probably switched my major about 3 times. Whoops! Oh well, it happens right? The last time I switched my major I decided to transfer schools to Utah Valley University. I have mixed feelings about change, and so at first I didn't like Utah Valley too much because I had to leave my friends. As the months went on, I learned to love it there. I made several new friends, who positively impacted my life. In October of 2015 I decided to serve as a full-time missionary for the next 18 months. I am now on my way to serve in California Bakersfield Mission. The gospel is true and has brought me such joy and happiness. I can only hope I will help the people there find true joy and happiness as they accept the gospel into their lives like I have.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew in Panguitch, Utah. The majority of the people are Mormon including my family. I have always gone to church, learned to study my scriptures, and to pray to my Heavenly Father. I was baptized when I was eight years old. I have loved growing up in the church and have always had a testimony. However, when I graduated high school I moved away from my home town. Being on my own was when I truly gained a testimony of the gospel. I learned to rely on my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know their love is forever. My trust in my Heavenly Father grew because of some hardships I have been through. He has and always will be there for me.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best person I can be. I try to be a happy, positive, loving, and hard-working girl. I strive to make the right choices daily. As I go throughout my day, I try to remember what Jesus Christ would do. However, I do make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. All that matters is that I try my best to be a representative of Jesus Christ.
