Hi I'm Katherine Kitchen

I love hearing puns. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with friends and family. I find that it is important to spend time with those you love and enjoy every moment because you never know what you could be your last. I started college in 2016, and I am now taking a break to go and serve a mission in the Michigan Detroit mission. I was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in October 2015, being a member of the church has helped me to find comfort. That has been given to me through the love of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, and also by the fellowship in the church. Though I may be far away from my family and friends I love the memories that I am making that will last a lifetime.

Why I am a Mormon

I am thankful for the wonderful blessings that the church brings into my life. The church is such a remarkable way for me to realize who I am and the importance of families in our lives. The gospel is such a key part of my life that I am so thankful for the opportunities it has given me throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I show everyone the Lord's love for them by serving them daily, and teaching them of the blessings that the church can bring to us.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Katherine Kitchen
"We believe to be the word of God as long as it is translated correctly" (see Articles of Faith 1:8). The Bible is a wonderful book of scriptures, and a great companion to The Book of Mormon. It is full of different gospel truths for our lives. Right now I am taking a class about the New Testament through the church to deepen my understanding of the New Testament. Show more Show less
