Hi I'm Zac

I was homeschooled. I like ping-pong and rubik's cubing. I love to spend time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was Homeschooled as a child. My curriculum was any and all books I could get my hands on. I was taught to love learning from some of the greatest teachers in history, and then discuss and apply what I learned with the people around me. These ideals helped create the tight knit atmosphere of my family. From my oldest memories to the present day my family congregates every night to share our experiences and thoughts from the day. This practise still helps me and has made me into the person I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

There are so many reasons in my mind to be a Mormon. However, I've found the simplest answer is best: because it's true. Throughout my life the Holy Ghost has always been there to help me and testify of truth. Through revelation, due to fervent prayer, I have a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that he has atoned for our sins, I know that his priesthood is on this earth, I know the Book of Mormon is true, and I know that he has a living prophet on the earth to direct us back to him.

How I live my faith

My greatest moments of clarity and joy in life have always been while doing service. I love the endless opportunities to serve in the church. I have found that the key to knowledge and growth is focusing on the needs of others. The love I've felt for others through helping people in need is incalculable, it fills my heart with a joy that doesn't disperse like the things the world says will make you happy. Everything you do in the church encourages you to serve because it is through service that we create unity with our brother and sisters.
