Hi I'm Joe

I grew up in a small town where just a few of us few Mormons are. I am studying physics. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a part time college student as well as a part time employee at Rent-A-Center. I am going to school for physics or chemical engineering (I haven't figured it out quite yet). As for work, I am a part time delivery driver. I am doing all of this just while preparing to serve the lord on a mission. Some of my hobbies include drumming, backpacking, anything outdoors, and finding the few things that still can give me an adrenaline rush. I love being LDS and couldn't imagine it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I not long ago discovered why I am a Mormon. I have had the privilege to grow up in the LDS church and throughout my life I was always told this was the true church. I guess I sort of always knew that it was, but I never put much thought into it. In my mid teenage years that weak testimony of the truth began to lead toward some of my rebellious behavior. One day when I was on my own I began to wonder, what was my life going towards? I did not have a happiness I knew I could have, and I just couldn't figure it out. I knew something was wrong but didn't put two and two together. at least not at first. not much later I got a call from our missionaries asking if I would go out with them sometime. At that specific point I knew what was wrong. I felt the spirit testify to me that living the life I was heading towards was not ultimately rewarding. I accepted the missionaries invitation and began to put my life in the proper direction. With this feeling I have now, I would never trade it for anything. I could never see myself other than being part of the true and greatest church in the world. because of this, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am part of a somewhat small branch of the LDS church. I have just been called as a teacher to the younger children of the branch. I love to go out with the missionaries to serve the lord. I am also attending prep classes for missionaries while waiting to go off and serve my mission. In addition to these things I also go to church each Sunday, I read my scriptures often, and I love to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
