Hi I'm Josh Dvorak

I was born in California, raised in Minnesota, I love to run, and I attend Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California and moved to Minnesota at the age of 5. I really like to run. I was in Track and Cross-Country in high school and I am trying to walk on the Brigham Young University Track and Cross-Country team. I am studying exercise science so I can go to graduate school and become a physical therapist. I love being outside and traveling to new places whether it be a national park or city. I enjoy going to the beach every time I go back to California to visit my family. I also love going to the cities in Minnesota and seeing all the culture. I am currently serving a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am serving in the Belgium/Netherlands Mission and I am very excited to serve God and his children in this area.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In my early years of life I simply went to church because my parents went every Sunday. However, as I got older and especially as I was by myself at college, I gained a personal knowledge of the truthfulness of the Church. Through reading my scriptures, praying, and going to church, I feel peace and comfort. My favorite aspect of the Church is the emphasis on families. I love my family and I know that we can be together forever: for eternity. By living the teachings and principles of the Church, I know that it is God's church right here on earth.

How I live my faith

I love every Sunday because I go to church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is more than just a church, it helps me live to the fullest and become the best person I can become. When I live in accordance with the teachings of the Church, which is Christ's teachings, I feel at peace.
