Hi I'm Jacquelyn Willis

I am a convert. I grew up in California. I love Harry Potter and In-N-Out. I have had a rough life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I went to BYU-Idaho as a non-member in the Fall of 2014. That November I was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was a long road to get there believe me. I investigated the church for 5 years before I eventually gave in to the feelings that I knew were true. Being the only member in my family has been rough. I get teased a lot but when I go to church and feel the spirit I know it is all worth it. The Gospel is true and I have a strong testimony of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that what I have been taught is true. Listen to a missionary tell you Joseph's Smith vision with so much raw emotion in their voice and tell me that you don't feel the spirit. It is hard to be passionate about something that isn't true. That's why we are so passionate about our teachings, because we know they're true. I encourage everyone to read and be taught of these truths. They will change your life forever.

How I live my faith

Currently I am living my faith by deciding to serve a year and a half long mission. I have been called to the Arizona Phoenix mission. It may be hard to leave for a year and a half, especially when my family does not quite understand why I would want to do such a thing. Heavenly Father gave me my whole life, I feel it is only fair that I give him a fraction of mine.
