Hi I'm Sammy Heaton

I play the violin. I am a runner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying music education at BYU-Idaho emphasis in strings. Ever since I was 5 years old I have been playing the violin. Over the years I have added more instruments to my music knowledge including piano, guitar, ukulele and voice. I love getting the chance to perform in a spiritual setting because the Spirit always works in my favor and portrays my testimony through the notes I play or sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I know its true and I love it! I love being able to say that I am a Mormon. I always say it with a smile because of the lasting joy and happiness it brings to my life. My life wouldn't have much meaning if it weren't for the knowledge of the Gospel. I love being a Mormon so much that I served a mission to help other people come to know of the happiness the Gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I am serving in the South Carolina Columbia Mission. This is how I have shown my faith in my Savior and in this true and everlasting Gospel. Having the knowledge that my Father in Heaven loves me eternally gave me the desire to share this knowledge with others.
