Hi I'm Amber Clark

I was born and raised in Utah! I am the 18th of 19 children. I am a soon to be missionary, in Atlanta Georgia. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love family, and all my friends and people in my life who have become family to me. I was born into a large family, I have 10 brothers and 8 sisters. I am the second to youngest, which makes me the 18th child. I am a Photographer! Photography is more than just a hobby to me, it's what I want to do as my career, it's my little bit of joy. I love books!! Reading is part of my life just as much as photography is, only you can't get paid to read in your bedroom or on your couch all day! I love to write, I hope to someday, if given the right opportunity, I get the courage to have one of my books published! I am also a soon to be full-time missionary, of which I am so excited for! I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or what the world mostly knows us as, I am a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the gospel. I have spent my whole life learning and understanding the many gospel teachings and doctrines within the church. I have felt moments even in the most deepest darkest times in my life, that glimpse of hope and change. Even one as me, someone who has known of God and our Savior Jesus Christ my whole life, someone who has heard and read of the Book of Mormon, and carried out many moments of testimony and love towards God, I still have moments where I can be completely changed and converted again and again into the gospel. It's having your whole heart and mind opened to something far more everlasting then you could have ever imagined anything else in your life. I grew up in a vary diverse family, I have siblings that have left the church, and some who are just inactive and no-longer care. having been raised side by side with them I know how hard life has been on them, and how easy it is to just not want such a challenge to live and work the gospel in your life. Having the heartaches and sufferings that my siblings and I included endured were things that no child should have to go through. Each of us went through our own trials and we each made our own mistakes. But I chose to change, I chose to come away from the dysfunctions and the sadness. Along with several other siblings of mine we were blessed with people who loved us, who cared for us, and took us under their wings, built us places of hope and filled love and hope in our lives. This gospel is one of these blessings within my own life. It protected me, and saved me from a life that I look back on and thank my Heavenly Father for loving me so much to work on me and push me to be who I am today. Why am I a Mormon? Better question! Why did I Choose God over sin? Because God and his Gospel and our Savior Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit are examples of Love, Family and Hope. I am a Mormon, because I want others to know that no matter what, I love them and that God loves them.

How I live my faith

I have just received my mission call, and will soon be leaving to serve the Lord within the next month! I attend a family ward, where I am a full tithe payer, I read my scriptures and I pray to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ and to my Heavenly Father every morning and night. I have been given the opportunity to take on many callings within my word, the 3 in particular are, I am a sub for primary (mostly in nursery). 2. I attend a small adult Gospel Principles class in where I have been asked to teach the lessons. 3. I have the experience and chance to go out visiting teaching to two beautiful women in our ward, and had even a further chance visiting teaching with a women who has opened my eyes with how much love and light the gospel has given her and her family. I live my faith or the gospel how God and Christ his son would want me to live. Yes I am still human, and I understand the struggle to balance life and God, but know that with God all things are possible, all things are made simple and far more beautiful! I live my life in faith, in Love, in Hope. And with those things and those blessings I have a chance to understand and even deeper and more rooted testament of my Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.
