Hi I'm Aiselyna

I am a perky person. I have 6 siblings and 11 nieces and nephews. I love psychology. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest in my family and am the only girl to go on a mission as well. I love music all around and have play viola (Bigger violin) and piano. I am a people person and love meeting new people each day. I work with pizza for a living, but I want to go to college and become a mental health counselor. I love being outdoors. I am not much of an athletic person but I love being active. I love challenges and will always try something new and spontaneous.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my entire life, but i wasn't truly converted till I was about 15. I hadn't tried to be apart of the church I was just there because my family was. As I began to hit my teenage years I realized I was unhappy and lost, but I couldn't figure out why. As I struggled with this in my freshman year of high school there was one day my seminary teacher bore his testimony on the gospel and how it filled his life with joy. He had knee surgery not to long ago and was expressing the happiness it brought him to just be able to kneel and pray. I was intrigued and wanted to have a joy like that. where I could be grateful for the simple things. I decided then to find out if the gospel was true. As I began to read the scriptures and pray about it I began to notice a change in my life. I was beginning to have a change of attitude and the light of Christ filled me with peace. It wasn't easy still and I had many trials through the years, but I had God with me and a knowledge I could fall back on. I began to see how others lived in the world full of darkness and confusion. There was such a misery to the life they were living. I didn't want to go to that place, so I cleaved to the gospel and haven't looked back since. The gospel is true! I have seen it change my life and many others. I am a Mormon because I just simply love the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am actually a gospel principle teacher in my ward. I have been for about two weeks now and I love it. I have always been one for discussion and so my class has to be on their toes because more than likely I will call on someone if no one is talking. I love it because even though it is the basic principles of our gospel it is the most important.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

I feel that everything tells there is a God. The main thing for me is when you look at the world around you. Have you ever gone on a walk by yourself with all the technology put away? Just listening and observing the world around you. It is amazing the things of this earth. It is all so beautiful and in order. There is a peace to it. Show more Show less
