Hi I'm Anna

I'm a pianist. I'm a skier. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and the outdoors. Although I'm a pianist and piano teacher, recently I've discovered a love for singing and playing the guitar. I recently finished my first semester of college and I loved it but missed spending time with my younger brothers. Some of my favorite pastimes include skiing and playing soccer, helping others, hiking, and reading good books.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first because of my parents. I was raised a member of this church and grew up in a family that studied the scriptures, attended church meetings, and prayed together. As I grew older and began to doubt what I had always been taught I searched the scriptures and prayed to know if what I had been taught was true, and if this church held the answers to the doubts and troubles in my life. I found peace and comfort in turning to God and the teachings of this church. I am a Mormon today because in hard times, in busy times, in sad times, in frightening times in my life, I have always had peace through following Christ's teachings and the guidance of this church. I have come to know for myself through study, prayer, trial and error, and acting in faith, that this is truly Christ's true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings faithfully, studying the scriptures daily and seeking to come closer to Christ through prayer and the words of his prophets. I was the pianist in my college ward and also lived my faith through visiting teaching girls in my ward. I am now preparing to serve a full-time mission to teach others about Christ and his gospel.
