Hi I'm Jaclyn Ballif

I grew up in Alpine, Utah. I'm a freshman at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman attending Brigham Young University. I enjoy listening to music and spending time with friends and family. In June of 2016 I put my education on hold and left my family for 18 months to serve an LDS mission in New York, New York. I have learned Spanish so that I can teach those in New York who speak Spanish. I love my Savior and am grateful for the opportunity I have to serve Him every day for 18 months, and help others to come unto Him.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the LDS church because I find joy in living Christ's gospel. I know that Christ lives, and He died for me, and everyone else. I have found comfort from this gospel, and I am uplifted by the teachings of modern day prophets and apostles. I have read the Book of Mormon and accept it as another testament of Jesus Christ. I love my family and love the focus on the importance of families in the LDS church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving every day to be like Christ. As a missionary, I represent Christ, and I try to be like Him so I can represent Him well. I live my faith by living my testimony. I believe that religion isn't just reserve for Sundays, but should be lived all day, and all night.
