Hi I'm Megan

I am a die hard Beatles fan, a sucker for breakfast food, and an aspiring student. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently in grad school studying to be a Speech Therapist. However, I never study too hard because I have such wonderful friends and family that distract me with other fun things to do. I love spending time with my sisters and yet always dreamed of having a brother. I love music and have recently started a record collection. The record player is still in the works... I love trying new food, making new friends, and finding new hobbies. Hiking is top notch and so is breakfast. I'm also fond of karaoke, all things China, and a good dance party.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel brings such clarity into my life. I know that I can become like my Father in Heaven because of the Savior's atonement. This atonement allows us to be forgiven of our sins, even the sins we believe are too big or inconsequential. There are moments when I have seen God's hand in my life and glimpsed the love he has for me. These moments are overwhelmingly beautiful and moments I cannot deny. There are things in life that don't make sense and it's hard to always see the big picture, but there is a plan of happiness. God loves all of his children. And knowing that I am a child of God allows me to feel his love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the commandments. God gave us commandments to help us find joy in this life and I have seen so many blessing come from following God's plan. In addition, Heavenly Father gave us agency. It is SO amazing that we have been given so much freedom. We can decide every day who we want to become. As I make decisions, I try to choose the things that will bring lasting happiness into my life.
