Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a Junior in highschool. I'm a 4-Her. I'm a Debater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Senior in Highschool. I am very active in 4-H and have gone to several state events. I do extemporaneous speaking and Lincoln Douglas debate, play the trombone in both Jazz and regular bands at our local highschool. Most of all though I am part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints also known as Mormons.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the spirit and know that this church is true. What really sealed the deal for me is learning about Christ's infinite atonement. The atomenent was when he suffered for us in the garden of Gethsemane. There he suffered not only for our sins but also for "Pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind (Alma 7:11)." That was amazing for me because it ment that someone else knew exactly the struggles I was going through and could help me if I only reached out to him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by practicing what it teaches and trying to get better every day. I go to Sunday meetings and I love going to Tuesday night activities witg the other young women. I also really enjoy participating in religion classes or Seminary that are offered during the school day.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The atonement was when Christ suffered for our sins, pains, afflictions, and temptations in the garden of Gethsemane. He was the only one who was able to pay the debt because he was the only perfect person to live on this earth. Because of this gift we can be forviven of our sins and can recieve peace and comfort.
