Hi I'm Mia

I am a Idaho girl, living in a Texas world! I love being a cowgirl! Now, I'm learning to be a southern peach! I am a Mormon!

About Me

I was raised in Pocatello Idaho. My family then moved to a small town in Texas and I followed them! I worked at the local feed store and learned from all the old cowboys. I love to ride our horses. It's one of my favorite things to do! I love to work with all kinds of animals and recognize it as one of my talents. Right now, I am serving in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission, sharing the good word of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's restored gospel here on earth today. I know this can be a bold claim but I have studied and asked my Father in heaven if this is truly His church. He has answered me. Everyday I notice and enjoy the blessings of being a Latter Day Saint. I know that my family can be together forever. I know that Christ has made this all possible through His atonement. How grateful I am to have this knowledge as it brings peace and hope into my life. I strive to be a good example of this church and invite all to come and learn of it themselves.

How I live my faith

When we moved to Texas there was a small Branch there, which is a smaller congregation than a ward. I really learned that I could be a blessing to the church. I served as a Seminary teacher there for three years. Seminary is a class for high school students that usually is in the morning before school starts. It is normally held Monday through Friday. I enjoyed every second of it! It was through this experience that I realized that I enjoyed teaching from the Holy Bible, the Book of Mormon, and modern day revaltion. I loved teaching the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I enjoyed learning from the students as well. When I was released as Seminary teacher, I felt like I wasn't done and wanted to continue teaching so I put in my request to be a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was called to serve in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. I have grown and experience so much here! I love the South and I am priveledge to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ here. I try to share our Heavenly Father's love to His children everyday.
