Hi I'm Jan

I am a devoted member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. I love God. I love the Savior, the Holy Ghost and my family.

About Me

I am the oldest of 7 children. I love doing genealogy and attending the temple when I can. The Sabbath is my favorite day of the week. I love art and music and love to learn of Heavenly Father and Mother. I enjoy my callings in the church. I have the privilege of taking care of my disabled sister.

Why I am a Mormon

I was very fortunate to have been born a member. I was not always a practicing member, but I was not happy. I am now happy being a disciple of Jesus Christ. Life is good for me. I am happy to have this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily scripture study and pray to my Heavenly Father as many times as I need. He often guides me. Sometimes he answers my prayers as a warm feeling, sometimes the Holy Ghost answers as a still small voice and God lets me know he loves me and all his children here on Earth. Just as you want, I too want to live with him again. I am here on earth to learn how to do that. I know families are forever. I have held different jobs in the church but ,have none at present. I know the Church is true.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is my constant companion. He is my guide and comforter. The Holy Ghost companionship was given to me by worthy priesthood holders after I was baptized. He is a separate member of the Godhead. The Godhead is three separate beings that work as one. He speaks often as a warm feeling or still small voice. He helped me to be sure the Church was true.
