Hi I'm Katherine Jensen

I'm a taekwondo instructor. I'm studying mechanical engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, write, sing, play the piano, and spend time with my family. I teach taekwondo classes at a local studio, and I love the kids I get to teach. Right now, I'm a college student majoring in mechanical engineering, and it's both really hard and a lot of fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have prayed to know if it is true, and I have received an answer. I have faith in Jesus Christ, and I love learning about Him and growing closer to Him as I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I rely on Christ to help me through the challenges of life, and I'm grateful for the opportunities I have to serve Him. Being part of this religion brings me peace and joy, even during difficult times in my life. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, and I know that this is the true church. I'm so grateful for that knowledge, and for how much it has blessed my life.

How I live my faith

I try to serve in my community and in my ward whenever I'm asked to, and I want to use whatever talents I have to serve the people around me. In the past, I've played the piano in church meetings, organized events such as youth camps, and taught self defense classes for the girls in my community. For the next 18 months, I have the opportunity to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm so excited to share this joy with other people, because being a member of this church has made my life so much better.
