Hi I'm McKelle

I grew up in the western United States. I am the second eldest in a family of twelve children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the piano and violin. I sing, and I love music. I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping. I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy cooking and baking. I have been in an orchestra. I have kept a faithful daily journal for the past several years, and doing so has blessed my life in so many ways. I just completed my first semester at college, and I loved it! I enjoy learning and doing the best I can at whatever I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to have a testimony of these things. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live! I have seen the hand of God in my life and I know they are real. They know each of us on a personal individual level, down to our struggles, temptations, and personal weaknesses. I know they love us unconditionally, and that they are Eternal glorified beings. I know they are merciful, perfect, and just. I know the Holy Spirit is real. He testifies of truth, comforts and heals us, and brings all things to our remembrance. I know the Atonement is real and powerful. It changes lives. Jesus Christ suffered and died for all who repent and come unto him. I know that he felt all the pains I have ever known and will ever know. He feels my sorrows. He knows exactly how you feel now and knows how to help you overcome your challenges. He knows and loves all people perfectly. I know that the Prophet Joseph Smith was and is a prophet of God. He translated the Book of Mormon through the gift and power of God, and by the same power he restored the Lord's true and living church again upon the earth. I know that he did indeed see God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. They did in reality speak to him. They answered His humble and sincere prayer in his search for the truth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I testify that the Heavens are open again! I know that President Monson is a true prophet. I know that as we listen to the council of the Prophet and Apostles we will not go astray. We will be protected as we heed their counsel. I testify that The Lord answers prayers. He hears and he answers. I know miracles are real. I know the Priesthood is real. I am so thankful for temples. I know families are ordained of God and are the building blocks of eternity. I know that the Savior lives! He died and was resurrected. He conquered the bands of death and because he rose again we all will be resurrected. I know the Gospel is true. And I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by serving those around me. I seek to brighten the days of others through kind words and uplifting thoughts. I testify of Christ and the joy of living the Gospel. I worked with the Young Women, girls and teenagers, ages 12-18. I served alongside them in my youth.
