Hi I'm Sam

I live in Southern California. I am self taught on Guitar. I'll play any sport I can find. I dance in my free time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I am Sam, and I have lived in San Diego County my whole life. I love playing sports and being active, I'll do most anything that involves those two things. One of my favorite things to do is surfing and rock climbing. I love listening to music and I feel like my taste is pretty diverse. I love playing music too, in fact I have been teaching myself how to play guitar for almost 6 years now and I am starting on piano. I currently attend college at BYU Idaho University and I am studying Exercise Physiology.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has always been Mormon and so I have always attended church and various church-led programs that are available. I was officially baptized into the church when I was 8 years old and then became an official member of the church. However, I feel like I wasn't really a committed member until I truly decided to read the Book of Mormon for myself and learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At that moment I wasn't relying on my parents' faith anymore because I had developed a testimony of my own and it is special to me.

How I live my faith

I attend church diligently like other mormons every sunday. I attend a congregation that is full of young adults like myself it is called a Young Single Adult Ward. I participate in most of the activities that happen throughout the week like service projects, game nights, and Family Home Evening, which is where we get together in smaller groups every Monday, and share a lesson about doctrine of the church and have a fun activity as well.
