Hi I'm Dayana

Hello my name is Dayana, I am Peruvian. I love kids, dogs & food. I love being a Full Time Missionary and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a person that always is there for others. My biggest passion is to serve other with my all heart and strenght. I was born in Peru, but when I was twelve years of age, I moved to California. On my free time, I like to listen to music and excercise. I think being physical active helps us to have joy. I also love to help others. I believe that loving our neightboor can be one of the biggest blessing we have. I am a very happy person (Be a Mormon, Be Happy). Recently, I got my mission call and I get to serve in New York New York South Mission. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to share the gospel with the people in New York :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because being a Mormon is being happy. That does not mean that I do not have trials in my life, because I do. But, I mean "happy" because this wonderful gospel brings happiness, joy and peace into my life. I am the fourth generation of my family as being members. I am so gratefull for them to make this decisions. Growing up, I gained my own testimony that I know that we are on the right church. This gospel has bring my family so close and makes me grow so much as a person and spiritually. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through prayer, reading scriptures and by acting as a disciple of Christ. I could say I come from a very strong family that has been member for a long time, they always taught me the importance of having faith and the definitions of faith. So, I always had that seed in my heart to have faith on my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. But, growing up, I was going through several afflictions in my life where I felt weak. That is when my faith increased so much. I felt a warm hug, and I know it was the pure love of God and His Son Jesus Christ; letting me know that He will console my afflictions. Since that day until today, I know He is always there for us, He knows us, He LOVES US. Faith it is a seed that we need to let grow by praying, reading, going to church, doing service, loving others, be a follower of Christ. That is how I live my faith.
