Hi I'm Jacob Hunter

I grew up in Southern California. I am excited to serve my mission in Quito, Ecuador. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been attending Brigham Young University and am now going out to serve a mission in Quito Ecuador. I swam and played water polo in high school and won a state championship for each. I enjoy learning and coming to understand others, as well as things like cooking and playing the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the life that entails is a good life. It if full of happiness, light, joy, and truth. I love it so much that I want to go out and share it with others! I love the focus on family, the interdependence, and the morals that the church teaches. Its all just good stuff! I have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ- He Lives! And because of His sacrifice, I have been made clean! And He is always there for me. Jesus Christ is the center of my life. I know that this is His church on the Earth! Why not be a Mormon?

How I live my faith

At school I was a Family Home Evening coordinator, so it was my job to plan and carry out fun activities and make sure our small group of boys and girls all were doing well up at school. I loved seeing everyone have fun and form close friendships.

What is faith?

Jacob Hunter
Faith is a way of life. It is a mode of living, an action, a step into darkness knowing that God will give you increased light. There is more to faith than just belief! It is confidence in the Lord our Savior, and a willing desire to change our lives. We must submit as clay into the hands of our Master Sculptor. Show more Show less
