Hi I'm Risha

I grew up in a small town in southeastern Utah. I am a full time student in Logan, Utah, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Risha, and I am graduating with a degree in Economics with a Management emphasis and a minor in history. I currently work three jobs (I'm an Archive Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Resident Assistant). I have been married for two years, and my husband is also in school studying Mechanical Engineering. I am currently enjoying having more time at home. I enjoy cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing, and playing organ and piano. I love to learn new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of church members, and I have been taught doctrine all of my life. I love the gospel, but I have also had to confront things that were difficult for me to understand or accept. I know that Heavenly Father lives and that he loves me. I have received countless blessings for both me and my family as I have followed the things that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have asked me to do. I find so much joy and lasting happiness by living the gospel. This joy and hope and support that I am blessed with because of my knowledge of the gospel, the atonement of Jesus Christ, and keeping the commandments and following the prophet are all reasons I choose to continue to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I recently completed a calling in my ward's primary presidency (working with and teaching children under 12) in my ward. Our primary was small with only four children, but I love all of them. I accepted a calling to be my ward organist, and I am looking forward to the challenges and joy that come from a new calling and the opportunity to serve. My husband and I work in the temple every week, and we love serving in the house of the Lord. I am constantly looking for new ways to serve and help the people around me. I have been blessed with many abilities and challenges that help me to have the skills I need to serve and help others.
