Hi I'm Charlie Jensen

I'm from Rexburg, Idaho. I love playing and coaching soccer. I am a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I'm currently missionary serving in the California Santa Rosa Mission. I love being a missionary and helping others come closer to Christ. I am also a loving daughter and sister. My family means the world to me. I love to do anything outside, snowboarding, kayaking- you name it! I am a photographer, I love capturing people's stories in a photograph. I am also a huge soccer fan! I played for 13 years, and am a goalkeeper. I have also had the privilege to coach for three years.(travel team, and at a high school level.) Before I left on my mission I was studying nursing at BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't grow up active in the church. The only time we went to church was when it was convenient. As I got older I realized that something was missing. I started to pray, study the scriptures, and we started to attend church every week. When I did this my life changed. I became so much happier, and didn't feel so alone. I developed a personal relationship with the Savior, and came to know Him. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The church helps me come closer to Him. As I've lived the principles that are taught I've become more like Him. I'm happy. I know that this joy comes from following Him. I'm able to have joy, and peace, even when life is hard. I know that this is the Lords true church on the earth today. I've lived the principles taught, and have seen the change in my life, and in me.

How I live my faith

In the church I have had a lot of opportunities to serve others. I've been able to participate in youth group activities that have helped me create friendships, and come closer to Christ. I've had the opportunity to serve as a girl's camp leader, and help young women learn more about the Savior, and their identity as Daughters of God. Right now I am devoting 18 months of my life to share what I know to be true. I live my faith daily by reading the scriptures, praying sincerely, serving others, and trying each day to follow the example of the Savior. As I've lived what I believe I have found profound joy.
