Hi I'm Rose

I grew up in Kansas. I'm the oldest child of 21 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and a mother of 5 children, who are now grown up. I have 4 beautiful grandchildren. I am a social worker by profession and work with a hospice organization. I have been a Mormon for 38 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church as a single young woman. I found that I had many questions related to the purpose of our lives and what happens after we die that had been unanswered before I found the church. My questions were driven by the death of my mother at a young age. Through the gospel and teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I learned that families can be sealed together for all time and eternity through sacred ordinances and covenants. I also learned that we all are of great worth to our Heavenly Father and that His work and glory is to bring about our immortality and eternal life. What great discoveries for my grieving heart. My life has been blessed and enriched as I have come to understand and to live in a manner worthy to receive these ordinances and make these sacred covenants.

How I live my faith

I serve in our church's women's group currently. In the past, I have taught, adults, young women and primary age children. I have been blessed to serve in many ways and love the opportunities I have been given to serve.
