Hi I'm Rebecca

I was born and raised in California. I love volunteering, music, and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student and a missionary. Studying Health Sciences/Biology. It has always been my dream to help others via healthcare. I enjoy volunteering at my local Children's hospital, teaching primary, discovering new things, places, and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger my family was not very active in the church, but I was still baptized at age 8. I can say I did not have a testimony of the church at 8 years old and I even vowed to myself around age 9 or 10 that, "when I grow up I would just be a 'Christian.'" Later in life, I began to enjoy church, but then for most of my teenage years I became depressed. Through heartfelt prayer, I was able to receive comfort in those times and come closer to knowing who my savior is. I know that I am never alone. I know that Jesus Christ knows all of our hardships and is readily available to help us through them. I now know that I have a purpose in life and that we are all here to do great things, we all have a purpose. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saint's is the true church and that because I seek to follow in Christ's footsteps I am a Christian. I have been able to receive so many blessing of happiness through the gospel. I love it, I live it, I am here to share it.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings regularly. I am a primary teacher for 6 & 7 year olds as well as the ward YSA representative. I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Mesa Arizona Mission.
