Hi I'm Isaac

I'm a nerd, both in academics and entertainment. I run a lot. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid runner. "Good shape" for me means I'm putting in 40-50 miles a week, and I enjoy every minute of it. I love math and science. I took every math class I could in high school and several AP tests, and the physics room was like a play area for me. I love to see how things work, and I've taken apart a lot of the stuff I own. I'm a gigantic nerd. I love anime, Magic: The Gathering, Brandon Sanderson's books, and Pokemon, among many other things. I've spent a lot of Friday nights alone. I love being with my family. There are definitely some uncles and aunts who I have a harder time to get along with, but it's fun to be around them.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel and church mean a whole lot to me. I have a strong direction in my life, and I know one hundred percent that the Lord will guide me where I need to go whenever I am willing to listen. I have been spiritually healed by the Atonement of Jesus Christ time and time again, and I know that when I fail--whether it's in keeping a commitment or letting down a friend or anything else--Jesus Christ is there to catch me as long as I'm willing to receive his help.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving a mission to Italy, and as much as the work is hard, I'm glad to be doing it.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Isaac
The biggest things in my life that are different because I'm a Mormon include church attendance, prayer, and scripture study, all of which take a concerted effort to keep up on but all of which enrich my life will beyond anything else I could use my time for. The constant learning and keeping up a relationship with my Father in Heaven bring a peace and assurance into my life that I couldn't get by without. Show more Show less
