Hi I'm Addy

I'm a college student studying biology. I love soccer, violin and being a lifeguard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student with hopes of one day becoming a pediatrician. I am the second oldest of seven. I have five sisters and one brother. I love swimming, running and playing soccer. I enjoy playing the violin. I love doing anything outside. The mountains are one of my favorite places to be. I love the peace and beauty that they have. I absolutely love star gazing. I love the moon, planets and the atmosphere. When I think about them they remind me how magnificent God is. I also have a love for sandwiches, brand new crayons and most of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My family is all a part of the church. I love spending time with them and growing from their examples and testimonies. I love knowing that I can be with them for eternity. I'm grateful I've been blessed to have the gospel for my entire life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. I've been blessed to have the gospel constantly in my life. I've chosen to stay a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I've taken the time to pray and know that this is the true church. I've felt of God's love for me and His awareness of me. I know that He is watching over me and guiding me in my life. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. All that the book teaches is true. I've prayed to know that it is true and felt that it was truly written and translated under the direction of God. Anyone can pray and ask about any part of the gospel and receive an answer of its truthfulness. Being a part of the gospel has blessed my life so much. I am the happiest when I am following the commandments of God. I know this is the one and true church on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best each day to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I try to help those around me and be a smiling face and support for them to rely on. I feel the most like Christ when I am serving others. Through serving others I better feel Christ's love for them. I am happier in my life and hope that they are happier as well. Each day I also study the gospel. I read the Book of Mormon, Bible and other materials. I try to increase my knowledge of this gospel and the teachings and doctrines of Christ each day. I love to learn more and to strengthen my testimony. When I study I can feel peace and comfort in my life. I got the opportunity to work with the women in my ward while I was at college. I helped teach the Sunday lessons and plan a few week day activities. It was wonderful to work around the other women and to get to know them better. In my hometown I've really enjoyed helping with the church services at the rest home. I love going to church each Sunday to feel Heavenly Father's love for me and learn more about His plan for me.
