Hi I'm Mallory

I'm serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Moscow, Russia, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised Mormon in Bellevue, Washington. I'm a Junior at BYU studying School Health Education and I love it. I am putting everything on hold while I serve as a missionary in the Russia Moscow mission. I love to bake, run, travel, and watch movies. I love being with my friends and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so blessed that I was raised a Mormon and have always known about the gospel. When I was a senior in high school, I really wanted to know if it was true and I prayed and prayed and I came to my own personal knowledge that it is true! I have continued to grow in the gospel. I love reading my scriptures, praying, and listening to general conference. These all add to my testimony. I try to be aware of the blessings that Heavenly Father gives to me on a daily basis. I know that with my testimony, I have had more joy and happiness in my life. The gospel gives me a purpose. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph smith was a Prophet of God and we have living prophets on this earth today. I know that Christ lives and that He is our Savior. The atonement is real and we can become clean. We have a loving Heavenly Father who has created beautiful plans for each of us to fulfill our potential. And I know that this is Christ's true church.

How I live my faith

I love being able to attend church and to take that time to focus on what is really important. By doing this, it helps me to set a standard for myself during the week. I try to be better each day and I am hopefully becoming the person that Heavenly Father wants me to be. I love the time that I get to spend daily reading the scriptures and praying to my Heavenly Father for guidance in my life. In January 2015, I left to teach English in Ukraine for three months. This is when I came to understand that I am a Child of God, that He loves me, and He wants to help me become the best me. In September 2015, I made some goals to try to do what Heavenly Father would want me to do. I knew that I needed to go on a mission. In October of 2015, I received my mission call to Moscow Russia. I was overjoyed that I would be able to be share the gospel of Jesus Christ to these beautiful people.
