Hi I'm Jessica

I play the violin, I'm a writer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating high school, I started college for a semester, before preparing for my mission. I had a job for a while too, with a 45 minute commute. Though I loved the job, it was hard work. I left on my mission on the 2nd of March. Now I'm headed for Ohio! I can't wait to meet the people there! Some of my hobbies include playing the violin and piano, writing, and spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel is everything to me. Knowing that God is my Heavenly Father and loves me and knows me personally, and that I will be able to live with Him and my family after this life is the sweetest blessing ever. I am a Mormon because I know Christ paid the price for my sins, so I can repent and enjoy the blessings of an eternal family, and through His grace, I can be made perfect. I am a Mormon because I know this is God's one true church, with the fullness of His gospel restored on the earth, through a prophet, Joseph Smith. I am a Mormon because I cherish the guidance of a living prophet today, called by God to be his spokesperson.

How I live my faith

Apart from regular church attendance and my previously mentioned mission call, I'm a visiting teacher. Since I'm new to this, I'm only visiting one sister, but it's been a wonderful experience. Every day I try to be an example of what it means to be a Mormon to those around me.
